Refurbishment of the former printer’s Bachem Haus in Cologne to place the SIDI furniture showroom.
The design consisted in restoring and respecting the industrial charm of the space, keeping the materials, pipes and colours, adapting it to the new use, traffic and lighting of the new project.
The claim “Just move in” generates the context to design the opening exhibition. The furniture is exhibited over pallet platforms as if the transporter had just leaved them. Red fluorescents are hidden under the pallets to sign the path and the exhibition areas. With Stefano Colli.
